nicole and phillip - hummingbird nest ranch, simi valley

this wedding was especially fun for me to design because the bride was a friend of mine...in fact, she was one of the first young, female entrepeneurs to embrace me as a fellow business owner! her couture line of handbags and bikinis have taken hollywood by storm and i am so proud of what nicolita has accomplished in such a short length of time!

the wedding ceremony took place at the san fernando mission and the reception was set at a spanish style hacienda...so these locations really factored into the decor of the day. crosses, rosaries, prayer candles, navy blue spanish tiles, custom lace napkins, cuban pressed sandwiches, black candelabras, hand painted sangria pitchers and fedora hat wedding favors were all ways nicole really infused her cuban heritage into her wedding.

we adorned nicole's bouquet with a vintage crystal rosary that belonged to nicole's grandmother...

nicole had her gown custom made based on her own design. by the end of the night, the bottom half of the dress was unzipped to reveal a sexy cocktail style dress!

we wrapped each boutonniere in rugged chocolate brown leather cording for a masculine look...

HUGE thanks to jasmine star for her GORGEOUS photos!
